Currently serving as Provincial Coordinator – Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) at Musawi, Abid Nawaz oversees the effective implementation, monitoring, coordination, and provincial stakeholder engagement for Musawi’s various projects and initiatives in the region. Abid holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from the UK and is licensed as an Advocate of the High Courts, routinely appearing in the Peshawar High Court and its Subordinate Courts. With over 13 years of consultancy experience in the development sector, Abid has made significant contributions to various Rule of Law Projects.
Moreover, Abid serves as a Gender Specialist for KP Cities Improvement Project (KPCIP) and also has prior experience of having worked on different donor funded programs including FCDO/DFID, European Union, American Department of Justice, and USIP. Abid has hands-on experience of conducting focus group discussions (FGD’s), organizing trainings for diverse stakeholders, alternate dispute resolution (ADR) initiatives, and coordination with government and communities.
